Lobster-ing!

This past couple weeks I managed to get Andee out of the apartment on two separate occasions!  PTL!  Last Saturday we headed to the Marriott Beach to absorb some sun and swim in the ocean!  Andee even managed to get some slight tan lines in the process!

The following Saturday, yesterday, Andee and I, as well as a few friends, went Lobster-ing out at the Peninsula!  Complete with spear guns, snorkel gear, and nets, we managed to catch five lobster!  (and by "we", I mean Jess!)  We (Jess) then made some delicious Lobster Pasta for all of us!  What an amazing St. Kitts experience!

Since Jess was back in St. Kitts for a brief visit, we had to have her participate in our usual outings such as karaoke, pool and beaching, and other Desperate Housewife activities!  We missed Jess a lot, and it was great to have her back for a visit!

On Friday evening we held a Baby Shower with our Island Family for our friend Aga, who will be having her baby on Island very soon!  We played some baby trivia, cute games, Aga opened her shower gifts, and we all enjoyed some delicious treats!

The weekends involved some kiddo birthday pool parties for Two-year-old Beau and One-year-old Mason!  Lots of swimming, food, kids and adults made for two excellent and fun-filled birthday parties!

Another great couple of weeks in St. Kitts!  And only 2 months until our visit back home!  Hello Cottage Season!

  1. Looks like a fun couple weeks. Not quite as jealous of your weather anymore because it's finally "hot" here now but I am jealous of lobstering! Miss ya Di. Glad to see some colour on Andee :)

  2. I don't like lobster, but "lobstering" looks like a lot of fun! Have a dip in the kiddy pool for Brandon who turns one on June 30th. Sure wish we could have the party there!
Yes, your parents have booked their trip and now we have to endure, I mean enjoy, listening to the St. Kitts countdown. We would have been a lot less jealous if Andee had chosen to do his schooling in, say, Idaho. Nothing against Idaho, but St. Kitts looks like some place to add to our bucket list!! Enjoy the next few weeks and maybe we can join you for some "cottage time" in August. If not....lunch for sure!! (You can order lobster). Love, Auntie Anne

  3. Hey Diana

Wow "lobstering" sure sounds like fun!!! I think that I would like to try it.
Ya, I agree with Lori's comment about not being so jealous of you now that our weather is nice here too. One the week-end..... we went "clamming" And by that I mean cleaning out the dead zeabra muscles and clams along the shorline. It's not "lobstering" but it's the Canadian version ..... "eh",,,,,

Glad to see that you're having the usual desperate housewives fun. I'm glad you're not getting to "homesick"

I resent the comment from Anne about having to "endure" the St. Kitts countdown. That's the beauty of booking early. I will be bugging her even more after that comment.

    Talk to you soon

    Love always from Mom

PS Cassie and I miss you
