With Final Exams finally over with, and after Andee managed to sleep for approximately 20 hours over the course of yesterday afternoon and evening, we have finally arrived at Thursday morning! After some delicious homemade breakfast sandwiches, Andee and I engaged in some much anticipated and needed (for Andee) beach and pool time! Andee was able to work on his tan (or lack there of), and I was finally able to spend some time with the Hubby without a set of notes, computer screen, or textbook in the way! PTL!!
Afterward, we were finally able to go out on our "Date Night" at Sunset Grill that we have been planning for over a month. We enjoyed some amazing Fettuccine Alfredo and Grilled Tuna, as well as the fact that we were dining at a restaurant that is located right on the Beach overlooking the Caribbean Sea! Amazing!
Overall, I was extremely excited to finally get Andee out of the apartment for almost a whole day to enjoy our beautiful little Island of St. Kitts! He was finally able to come out of hibernation and spend a day relaxing with the Wifey!
So here I am, typing up this blog on Friday morning. Home time has finally arrived! As we are leisurely packing up some items to bring back to Canada, we are hoping and praying that our flight will run smoothly today, and that after 11 hours spent in airports and on airplanes, we will finally arrive in Toronto where we will be greeted by excited Family members and McDonalds. Finally!!!
A blog chronicling the lives of two newlyweds Andee and Diana as they spend seven years journeying around the continent! Andee will be giving insight on Medical School and Residency, while Di will be blogging about life as a "Desperate Housewife", and whatever shenanigans she gets herself into. Enjoy and feel free to comment!

A Desperate Housewife During Final Exams
So it is finally here - Final Exam Week! A week of tremendous stress and lack of sleep for students, but an exciting bonding week for the Desperate Housewives! Since we are all fully aware of the fact that our husbands have much more important things to do than be distracted by us, we planned lots of fun outings to keep the Wifey's happy and busy!
A Desperate Housewife During Final Exams...
Mondays are for Catching up - housework, cooking, cleaning, and tending to the Hubbys, as well as some "much needed" relaxing from the previous week. And let's get real here, sometimes we end up at the pool anyways!
Tuesdays are for Trivia. How do you win trivia for the second time? Triple your team size of course! With the help of some visitors to St. Kitts, we accomplished our second win as a team. Go Mosquitoes!
Wednesdays are for Karaoke-ing, and for the last couple of Wednesdays the girls sang their hearts out for an embarrassingly large number of songs. And we are pretty good at it too! (at least we think so...)
Thursdays are for beaches, pools, and whatever other shenanigans we get ourselves into! This week a few of the girls took a field trip to Calypso Pool, and then decided to engage in a lengthy photo shoot involving our best friend, 10 second timer! For everyone's sake, I have selected only a few photos to share!
Fridays are for Fun evenings! Last week we enjoyed watching some beach volleyball, as well as a farewell bonfire for a friend that was leaving the island. Lots of smores, hotdogs, beaches, and friends made for a very fun St. Kitts style evening!
Saturdays are for Families and Fun! Yesterday we celebrated Brody's 2nd birthday by spending the day at the beach! There were brownies, popcorn, and even a pinata for the kids! A great way to spend a Saturday!
That evening, we celebrated in style for Kristen's Farewell Party. We got all dressed up, went to a fancy restaurant, and celebrated 16 months of Kristen! Oh Kristen, how you will be missed!
Sundays are for Church, Pools, and Bible Studies! Last week and again today, the DH's will spend the afternoon relaxing at the pool! Every day is a beautiful day when you live on an island!
Countdown: Only 5 days left! A mere 3 Final Exams stand in the way of some much needed Diana and Andee Island and Canada time! "I'll have a McChicken Meal with coke, and some extra McChicken sauce please........"

Ok, Blue Jays, Lets Play Ball!
Tomorrow marks the end of Andee's Block 3 Exams, YAY! Now I finally get to spend some quality time with my hus..........Oh wait, scratch that, Final Exams are a mere 12 days away? I guess the beach day will have to be postponed! Not to worry, there are lots of bored and lonely housewives whose husbands are in the same boat! Oh, you were worried about Andee.....my mistake! Haha just kidding! He is doing, well, as good as a Medical Student in Finals can be doing! And I am making him an endless supply of treats to keep him "fat and full" (aka, not losing weight due to stress). A little McDonalds Chicken McNuggets and a lack of exams will set things right!
And what have I been up to while the Huzzy studies excessively? Let's take a look!
Along with our usual routine of beach and pool time, some of the girls (and guys) decided to karaoke it up on Wednesday! In conclusion we sang (or possibly screamed) a total of eight songs in three hours. Enough said!
Guess what else is new this week? It's BASEBALL SEASON!!!! Andee took a quick break from studying to watch the Blue Jays Home/Season Opener with me! After a staggering 13-3 win for our Boys, as well as a sold out crowd swinging rally towels, I'd say it was a pretty successful game! "Lets Go Blue Jays!!!"
On April Fools Day, Janae hosted a Dance Central Competition Party for the wifeys! I would like to say that I won, but unfortunately I think that I am a lot better than I actually am. Apparently no extra points were scored for enthusiasm! Haha!
Today, I am just about to make dinner before heading out to Trivia! Tomorrow Andee and I will enjoy a Mexican Fiesta whilst watching the Blue Jays on MLB.TV to celebrate the end of blocks, followed by more obnoxious karaoke-ing! Oh, St. Kitts, how I love thee!
Countdown: 16 days tomorrow! I can almost taste that McChicken now!
